Twice a year Camilla Franks sets off on a new adventure, immersing herself completely in each new place. This time, Camilla’s profound inspiration came in the storied halls of Italy’s most iconic hotels, in partnership with The Leading Hotels of The World.
The Amore Mio collection immortalizes the destinations of six Leading Hotels in a series of hand-painted silk prints in the form of fashion—a vacation you can wear:
Launching individually through December, travel with us on a journey to the endless coastline of Sorrento, the hillsides of Florence and Tuscany, and the opulent artistry of central Milan, as Leading Hotels and CAMILLA celebrate some of Italy’s most outstanding hotels in 15 limited edition prints.
“There’s so much synergy between The Leading Hotels of the World and CAMILLA; the love of travel, curiosity, escapism, opulence, discovery... and the passion for uncommon and authentic experiences. These prints will transport you to hotels that are some of the most extraordinary, desired, historic and unforgettable places in the world,” says designer, Camilla Franks.
Hotel Santa Caterina, on the Amalfi Coast, unfolds within Amalfi Amore. The print is a hand-painted vista of moments from Camilla’s stay, reimagined as one expansive scene. It encompasses the soul of this cliffside marvel and the archetypal elements the Gambardella family have ripened for over a century: striking hand-painted tiled murals, wisteria and hibiscus blooms in the hotel garden, the lemon trees that flank the path to the pool, orange and pink bougainvilleas.
