NEW YORK, NY — (February 2023) – The Leading Hotels of the World
(LHW) proudly announces that Webbeds and Hotelbeds were selected as new B2B distribution platform partners within the Leading Strategic Sourcing (LSS) program.
LSS is a program spearheaded by LHW and DayBlink GPO. It offers a strategic group purchasing for LHW’s portfolio of global, independent hotels. The program serves members by helping them capture new demand, access innovative sales, marketing and technology solutions to empower their success, and drive value to hotels in other important hospitality categories.
“We are delighted to offer our more than 400 independent, luxury hotels valuable access to Hotelbeds and WebBeds, the two largest B2B distribution platforms in the market today. The strategic alliance provides our members with equal opportunities for optimized distribution globally, a key component to our LSS efforts in 2023 and beyond,” said Phil Koserowski, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, The Leading Hotels of the World. “For Hotelbeds and WebBeds, this collaboration broadens their portfolio of luxury hotels with our span of properties in over 80 countries around the world.”
These LSS agreements are the first of their kind for independents and ensures rate parity and universal terms for Leading’s more than 400 global hotels in this important space:
- Hotelbeds: Hotelbeds is a global leader in the TravelTech space, connecting and empowering businesses by facilitating bridges in the ever-changing and expanding travel ecosystem. Their cloud-based technology platforms offers simplified access to a global network of travel products, from accommodation to ancillaries and payments, while rich data and intelligence helps to generate demand. As the world’s largest B2B distributor, Hotelbeds serves over 180,000 hotels in 185 countries, connecting hotels with over 60,000 travel sellers.
- WebBeds: WebBeds is a global marketplace for the travel trade, providing powerful distribution solutions that make selling and buying travel products easier. It sources accommodation and destination services from travel suppliers, aggregates and merchandises that content in the WebBeds platform, then distributes it to its global network of travel trade buyers, who sell to the travelling public.
“It is a great achievement for Leading Hotels to be collaborating with the largest global hotel inventory distributors, Hotelbeds and WebBeds,” said Michael Wong, CEO, DayBlink GPO. “This brings unprecedented terms to independent luxury hotels. We look forward to working with both partners to support our hoteliers' innovative distribution strategies.”
