Global Sustainable Tourism Council – The Leading Hotels of the World is a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the premier global authority in setting and managing standards for sustainable tourism worldwide. Their framework served as the foundation for the Sustainability Leaders collection. There are over 40 global certifications aligned to GSTC’s criteria. A Leading Hotel who boasts the Sustainability Leaders recognition has been rigorously evaluated and received at least one, or more, sustainable certifications aligned to the GSTC Industry Criteria.
