Perfect for cutting your tracks on snow-covered slopes, or taking soaring airborne jumps. It has everything a freerider could ever want. The mountain offers steep descents on the glacier, pristine slopes on partially secured off-piste terrain as well as many natural jumps and drops.

The well preserved village center of Andermatt is of national significance. There are a number of stately homes here, often with rococo interiors. Typical of Andermatt are its wooden structure on masonry bases, open arcades and stone stairways.

The Sasso San Gottardo, a very unusual museum, is located in the tunnels and rock caverns of the Gotthard mountains and focuses on the use of resources.
