Best Cultural Secret
The enormous elaborate acropolis Pyramid, located inside the maya site of Ek-Balam, is a striking sight after driving through the surrounding jungle. When the Mayas abandoned the site, it went uder cover, literally, as the dense low-lying jungle of Yucatan engulfed it . You can climb this imposing structure, and from the top you can see all the other structures at Ek Balam. Ek-Balam, located just north of Valladolid, is special in another sense: it is never overwhelmed with tourist. While it is quieter and more peaceful than Chichen-Itza, it is also not as fully excavated.

Museum Must-See
It is the most important museum work developed by the National Institute of Anthropology and History since the construction of the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico city. It shields one of the most meaningful collections of the Mayan culture in the country, as it includes not only important pieces of the State of Quintana Roo, but also pieces from Palenque, Chichen Itza and Comalcalco among other cities.

The Xel-ha - Tulum tour is a great opportunity to discover two of the Riviera Maya's favorites. Discover Tulum National Park and its archaeological site which is one of the most visit pre-columbian era. The only ancient city built facing the Caribbean Sea.
Top Day Trip
Xcaret is a water, theme, amusement, eco-archaeological park in once place. Due to tis privileged location in the Mayan jungle among underground rivers, cenotes and facing the Caribbean Sea, Xcaret has impressive scenarios where you can do different activities and enjoy to the fullest those scenarios. After Tulum, explore Xel-ha and its fabulous inlet, which is home for several marine species.
