The Lanesborough London's Concierge Outdoes Himself With An Exclusive Tour Sure To Impress Even The Most Jaded Traveler
Sights To Behold

The frequent traveler has seen the essence of London at least once, if not twice, or more likely, too many times to count. Tourist landmarks like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, while always breathtaking, hold little surprise for frequent visitors to London. But then again, perception is all in the approach.

The Lanesborough London's concierge team, noted for their abilities to fulfill any request, came up with an idea for guests of the hotel to see the city's finest landmarks from a decidedly unique vantage point. Exclusively theirs, the team has curated a land, sea, and air excursion designed for guests with the desire to experience the almost 2,000-year-old city in an entirely new way.

Amazing Views From Every Angle

The bespoke tour begins with London by land. A chauffeured car escorts guests from the hotel to the Tower of London for a private viewing of the Crown Jewels, whose highlights include the Cullinan I diamond, which, at 530.2 carats is the largest colorless cut diamond in the collection, and is set in the Sovereign's Scepter with Cross; St. Edward's Crown, so named after Edward the Confessor, is made from solid gold, and is worn for coronations at Westminster Abbey. You'll be joined by a Yeoman Warder, or Beefeater as they're nicknamed, who will guide you on your tour of the awe-inspiring symbols of monarchy.

Then it’s a short drive to the London Heliport in Battersea on the south bank for a glimpse of London by air, a helicopter tour in sky-high luxury. Your chopper will swoop over sights 1,000 feet below you, offering a different perspective of Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and the Houses of Parliament designed by Charles Barry and Augustus Pugin.

Back on the ground, it's time for the final leg of the tour, London by sea, with a boat tour on the River Thames. Your final destination? The London Eye Pier where your personal butler will be waiting with Champagne for you to toast with when your private London Eye capsule hits its height of 443-feet above the city. A grand finale indeed.
